Queenslander Terry Price is the new leader at the halfway mark in the final round of the NSW Open Championship being played at Horizons Golf Resort, Salamander Bay.
Price is two shots clear of a group of four after twelve holes, making the best of hot and dry conditions. If Price emerges victorious today, it will take his total to two PGA titles for the year, having won the Volvo Classic in April at the Bonville Golf Resort in Northern NSW.
Overnight leaders Tony Carolan and Jon Riley have both dropped a shot to nine under, along with Jason Norris and Andre Stolz. At stake is the coveted NSW Open Championship title, a winner’s cheque of $36,000 and total prizemoney of $200,000.
Aaron Byrnes, Adam Groom and Wayne Grady are a further stroke off the pace.
