New Zealanders Michael Long and Grant Waite and Australian Mark Hensby have all made progress in round two of stage two qualifying at their respective venues and are now well placed to move through to the final of the USPGA Tour Q-School.
Waite and Long both lost their full playing rights on the PGA Tour this year with Long, just a week ago, missing the cut at the NSW Open at Horizons Resort. Mark Hensby is coming off a year on the Buy.Com Tour where at one stage during the year, he was in a position to gain a card.
Long and Hensby, who are playing in California, are in third and sixth place respectively after thirty six holes. Matthew Lane another New Zealander is in 39th place. The top 21 at this venue will get through to the finals on December 4th.
In Florida, Grant Waite produced his second consecutive 68 to be in fourth place.
