Park through to semi at Women's Amateur

The battle for the Australian Women’s Amateur title is hotting up with just four girls left to fight it out. This morning, Sunny Park defeated an erratic Rebecca Flood 5 & 3 in the first quarter final. Rebecca would be very disappointed she was unable to carry her form over from yesterday where she had an upset win over the number one qualifier, Sarah Oh.
Park however looks in great touch and will be a tough opponent for Stephanie Na, who ground out a 1up victory over Victoria’s Stacey Keating.
The second semi-final sees the defending champ, Helen Oh take on National Squad member Emma Bennett. Oh had a rather shaky win over Queensland’s Sheree Hasson on the 20th. Oh was 2 up through 15 and had to calm her nerves after Hasson had a great chip in on 16th to win the hole.
Bennett had a solid 2 & 1 win over Cecilia Nha and should be brimming with confidence. Oh has been here before and won’t be an easy pushover. The course is playing calm and set for a great afternoon’s play.
