The morning session of the Australian Amateur Championship is completed and there’s barely any separation between Justin Roach and Rohan Blizard, with the difference a single hole, Blizard’s way.

Unlike yesterday in his match against Lloyd Saltman, Roach has not been able to break away from the ever consistent Blizard.

In what may be a sign of things to eventuate as the Championship unfolds this afternoon, Blizard opened with a birdie on the first hole. Roach immediately won the next hole.

The pair since have remained locked in classic match play, trading hole by hole, with Blizard securing a birdie on the 18th to go one up.
