Srixon Sports has launched its 2007 version of the AD333 golf ball featuring a new core, cover and aerodynamics. The popular AD333 golf ball is now faster and longer than the original with the same great feel and playability.
“We have made the new AD333 a better ball for the everyday golfer by reengineering the cover and core and applying new aerodynamics resulting in optimal performance,” said Richard Stamper, Srixon’s President. “Srixon’s new Pana-Tetra blended cover combined with a highly resilient, soft Energetic Gradient Growth core and a new 333 dimple pattern will provide greater distance for all golfers through improved ball speed and optimized launch conditions,” added Stamper.
The two-piece AD333 golf ball is designed for golfers of all ability levels and is one of Srixon’s best selling golf balls. Golfers will now enjoy greater performance benefits with the new AD333 golf ball.
Core
The new, highly resilient, soft Energetic Gradient Growth core provides faster ball speed than its predecessor with the same optimal high launch angle and low spin launch conditions. The core’s soft compression also allows golfers with average to moderate swing speeds the ability to maximize their distance potential.
Cover
The new, proprietary Pana-Tetra blended cover provides a higher launch angle plus reduces driver spin while maintaining the softness of the cover. This results in increased driver distance without sacrificing greenside spin and playability.
Aerodynamics
The new 333 aerodynamics features six different dimple sizes with larger dimple diameters and greater dimple surface coverage. This helps reduce distance by robbing high-speed drag and promoting a shallow angle of descent for greater carry and roll.
The new AD333 will be available in golf shops and golf specialty stores in early September for a suggested retail price of US$29 per dozen.
