Minoza and South Korean, Dong-Hwan Lee, finished the 72 holes in a share of the lead at 14 under before Minoza won in a playoff. 20-year-old Lee birdied three of his last four holes to join Minoza in the lead before the playoff.

Shingo Katayama finished alone in third place after having won last week’s Bridgestone Open but remains in second position on the money list behind Toru Taniguchi with Lee moving into third position.

New Zealander David Smail continued his good run in recent weeks when he added a 4th place finish to his consecutive 6th placed finished in his last two starts. He was the best of the Australasians while Brendan Jones and Steve Conran were 25th and Chris Campbell 41st.

The Japan Golf Tour now takes a break before the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheyo Masters at Gotemba on November 8th.
