Smail stays in touch in Japan Series

The second round of the Japan Series event is under way and Jumbo Ozaki has opened up a one shot lead through eight holes of the second round. Essentially this event brings together the leading players from the Japan Tour money list plus a couple of ring ins so to speak with Terry Price getting a start strangely enough due to his win at the NSW Open. Don’t ask me why.
Ozaki is at ten under and one ahead of Shingo Katayama. David Smail is in fourth place at six under, four behind Ozaki and will be looking to win for the third time this season.
Terry Price is in 18th spot in the twenty man field and Brendan Jones along with Smail, one of the stars in recent months in Japan, is in last place.
