Katayama moves further ahead in Japan

Shingo Katayama is headed for his second victory of the year and the chance to move into third place on the money list on the 2002 Japan Golf Tour, after his third round 66 at the Nippon Series opened up a six shot lead over Jumbo Ozaki. Ozaki’s third round 67 has him at ten under and one shot ahead of Jong-Duck Kim.

David Smail was around in one under 69 today to move to eight under and is alone in fourth place. Brendan Jones is 12th at one under and Terry Price is 19th at two over.
