Chun leads Aussie Q-School Final

New Zealand’s Kevin Chun fired a six-under par round of 66 to hold a one stroke lead after the first round of the 2007 PGA Tour of Australasia Qualifying School.
Queensland’s Bronson La Cassie and South Australian amateur Jarrad Roxby are in a tie for second place after both shot impressive five-under par rounds at the Peninsula Country Golf Club.
Euan Walters (Victoria) and Stephen Dartnell (Western Australia) are a further stoke back in a tie for third place.
Ryan Haywood, Adam Wilcox, David Gleeson, Korea’s Sung Lee and Kiwi Michael Hendry are still in the hunt after shooting rounds of 69.
The top 35 and ties will earn a fully exempt Australasian Tour card for 2008 while those who finish between 36th and 60th will receive limited status for the Von Nida Tour.
