Boland moves at Lake Macquarie Amateur

Julia Boland has moved into the lead at the Lake Macquarie Women’s Amateur, following a second round one-over-par 74, to be at +3 and three shots ahead of her nearest rival, Stephanie Na.
Na, the first round leader, was unable to capitalise on her opening 74 and finished the day with a six-over 79. Rebecca Flood also fired a 79 to be in third position at eleven-over following another brutal day at Belmont.
Conditions remained challenging, with strong winds and driving rain plaguing the field throughout the day and making low scoring difficult.
Clare Choi, Sheree Hasson and Whitney Hillier share T4th position at thirteen-over, nine strokes behind Boland.
