Na overtakes Boland at Lake Macquarie

Stephanie Na has overtaken second round leader Julia Boland, to have a four-stroke lead moving into the final round of the Lake Macquarie Women’s Amateur.
Na’s three-under 70 has the 2007 Mastercard Junior Masters Champion in the box seat to claim her first championship at Belmont, after she finished runner-up here last year. Clare Choi, who fired a 70 today, is currently in third position at 10-over, six shots behind Na.
Boland in contrast, fired a disappointing 4-over-par 77, which enabled Na to make the move and press for the title. Boland is at 8-over-par for the championship.
Rebecca Flood and Whitney Hillier are currently tied fourth, nine shots behind Na.
The third-day low round went to Stacey Keating, who improved markedly on her opening rounds of 81 and 82, with a 4-under-par 69, to join Flood and Hillier at 13-over-par.
