Woods leaves Buick field in his wake

Tiger Woods has extended his four shot lead to now head the Buick Invitational leaderboard by eight shots after his third round of 66 left his rivals in his wake.

Stewart Cink holed a lengthy eagle putt across the last green to take second place outright ahead of Joe Durant but it seems a formality that the most interest tomorrow is in the battle for second position as Woods plays in a world of his own chasing his sixth Buick Invitational title.

A group of four players are at seven under and eleven shots behind Woods, including the leading Australian Aaron Baddeley, Doug La Belle, Justin Leonard and Boo Weekley.

Stuart Appleby is at six under while Steve Elkington and John Senden are the next best of the Australians at five under.
