Boland leads NSW Stroke Play

Julia Boland from Pennant Hills in Sydney is the early leader at the New South Women’s 72-Hole Stroke Play Championship being played at Concord Golf Club in Sydney.

The local fired a three-under round of 74 to lead by three strokes from Nicole Montgomery.

Behind the lead pair sits a host of women from New South Wales including Julie Swanson (+2), Deidre Brander (+3), Kate Thomas (+4) and Rebecca Flood (+4). Also at four-over is Queenslander Bree Arthur and Clare Choi of Victoria.

The championship is the final event in the inaugural Karrie Webb Series, which will conclude at the end of the week.
