Boland ahead by eight at NSW Stroke Play

Julia Boland has maintained her solid start to the NSW Women’s 72-Hole Stroke Play Championship, extending her lead to eight strokes from Victoria’s Clare Choi at Concord Golf Club in New South Wales.

Boland, a member of Pennant Hills Golf Club, has fired rounds of 71 and 73 leaving her at four-under, and well ahead of Choi, who has carded 78 and 74. Rebecca Flood is in equal third at six-over alongside Queenslander Bree Arthur.

Current Karrie Webb Series leader, Stephanie Na, sits in equal 7th place alongside Manly’s Kate Thomas and Jessica Speechley following a second round of 75 (1 over).

The championship is the final event of the inaugural Karrie Webb Series, which will conclude at the end of the week.
