Third round leader, Adam Bland, recorded a final round of 69 at the Canadian Tour’s Seaforth Country Classic to finish in a share of 6th place, five shots behind the winner, Kent Eger.

On a golf course that measured only 6000 yards and with a winning score of 26 under 258, his two under par final round was never going to be enough and Bland had to settle for a CAN$5,000 cheque. The South Australian retains his 8th position on the 2008 money list.

New Zealand’s Josh Geary was the next best of the Australasian contingent in a share of 13th place with Queenslander Justin Smith another shot back in a share of 15th.

Luke Hickmott (T24), Doug Batty (T29), Clint Rice (T37), Mitch Tasker (T48) and Michael Choi (63) made up the rest of the Australasians to play the weekend.
