IN: News | by Bruce Young | 01 Sep 2008

Queenslander Katherine Hull broke through for her first win on the LPGA Tour at the recent CN Canadian Women’s Open and then further confirmed her progress by finishing 4th the following week at the Safeway Classic.

In doing so, Hull became the only Australian, other than Karrie Webb, to win on the LPGA Tour in more than four years.

A star during her time at Pepperdine University in California, the 26-year-old is now developing the career that two immediate wins on the Futures Tour in 2003 suggested it might have eventuated earlier.

During a two week break from the LPGA Tour, Hull took time to speak to iseekgolf’s Bruce Young to discuss her win, her game in general, the application of her strong faith and, along with other LPGA Tour members, her work in assisting the plight of children in Rwanda.
