PGA Tour qualifying gets underway

Qualifying at six of the eleven venues being used for Stage One PGA Tour Qualifying gets under way on Tuesday 21st October with Australians and New Zealanders liberally scattered amongst the venues.

Each venue contains upwards of 100 hopefuls trying to secure one of the 20 or so places at each venue, offering graduation to the Second Stage in mid-November.

In Beaumont in California, Scott Draper, Matt Etherington, Dean Kinney, Matt Melrose, Jens Nilsson, Adam Wilcox and Jake Younan-Wise will all fly the Australian flag.

In Dayton Valley in Nevada, Matthew Zions gets his chance.

In Florence in South Carolina, Brendan Chant will line up as the sole Australian in the field.

In Key Biscayne in Florida, Matthew Ballard in the field, in Kingswood in Texas, New Zealander Doug Holloway and New South Wales’ Aaron Townsend line up and in St Augustine in Florida, Paul Marantz takes his chance.
