Canberra golfer Nikki Campbell has continued the steady progress she has shown in recent weeks on the Japan Ladies PGA Tour with another finish inside the top ten, this time at the Masters Golf Club Ladies event near Kobe.

Campbell finished in a share of 7th behind the winner Shiho Oyama. It was Campbell’s third top ten in her last four starts and moves the 28 year old to 29th on the money list after what had earlier been the slowest start to her six year LPGA Tour career.

Oyama caught and passed the second round leader and money list leader, Ji-Hee Lee in today’s final round and won by three shots over Eun-A Lim and Ah-Reum Hwang to record her first win of the season

Fellow Australian Tamie Durdin finished in a share of 19th.

The Japan Ladies Tour now has a one week break before the Higuchi Hisako IDC Otsuka Kagu Ladies event.
