PGA Tour Q-School Stage One continues

BY Bruce Young | US PGA Tour | 2008 USPGA Tour Q-School - Stage One (Field 2) | Preview | 29 Oct 2008

Qualifying for the 2009 PGA Tour at the second series of Stage One venues is underway with a further six venues being used to determine, who will advance to Stage two in mid-November.

Play at the first venue in Spring in Texas started overnight while at the other fives venues play gets underway on Wednesday US time.

Two Australians advanced from the first six venues last week and a quick scan of the fields at this week’s venues suggests many more will attempt to do the same this week.

Doug Batty, Martin Doyle, Ben Ferguson, Brad Iles, Steve Collins, Luke Hickmott, Bronson La Cassie, Josh Carmichael, Stephen Dartnall, Tim Stewart and Clint Rice are recognisable names amongst the Australasians in the respective fields.
