Moving day lived up to its expectations with Victorian Tim Wood taking the lead after a six-under, 66 on day three of the Cellarbrations NSW PGA Championship at Riverside Oaks.
At 14-under, Wood (69,67,66) holds a one shot lead from New Zealander Michael Long (68,68,67) who will be looking to make it back-to-back victories on the Von Nida Tour following his success in the Oceanique WA PGA Championship last weekend.
Those looking to spoil the party are New South Welshmen Josh Lane and Dean Kinney, who moved into contention on day three.
Lane fired the best score of the day, with a sizzling eight-under 64 while Riverside Oaks Professional Kinney settled with a 65.
It was a disappointing day however for overnight leaders Victorian Tim Wise and New Zealander Grant Moorhead, who lost ground and signed for 72 and 76 respectively.
Defending champion Scott Draper continued his love affair with Riverside Oaks moving into a tie for seventh at nine-under after his third round, 68.
With 57 players currently under-par the scene is set for a thrilling finish.
The final round of the 2008 Cellarbrations NSW PGA Championship at Riverside Oaks gets underway at 9.10am tomorrow with the pairing of Wood, Long and Lane to commence at 11.00am.
