King maintains lead at Dunes Medal

South Australia’s Sarah King has fired another superb sub par round to lead the prestigious Dunes medal by four strokes.

King backed up her three under round from yesterday with an even more impressive four under 69 today, to take the lead from fellow South Australian, Stephanie Na.

While Na was able to improve on her first round of even par 73, her three under total of 70 today, was not enough to close the gap on a rampaging King.

After sitting in second place yesterday, Courtney Massey had a tough day out on the Dunes course in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, firing off a disappointing 7 over round of 80 today.

Victorian Stacey Keating remains in the hunt, on one under for the two rounds, six off the leader King.
