After a weather delay of just under two hours at the Australian PGA Championship, play has finally been called off for the day at 4.50pm with the chances of any further play eliminated by the lingering storm clouds.
Play will resume at 5.30am on day two with the remaining 78 players to complete their rounds before normal play in round two begins at 7.45.
Victorian Peter Wilson and New Zealander Tim Wilkinson still lead the event at 6 under with Wilson having played 14 holes. Wilkinson played early and was round in 66.
Geoff Ogilvy and Richard Lee have had rounds of 67 to be at 5 under along with Peter Senior who still has eight holes to play and could yet challenge for the first round lead when he returns in the morning.
