Singh's great year continues in Japan

Jeev Milkha Singh has continued his outstanding season in 2008 with a win at the season ending Golf Nippon Series JT Cup at the Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club in Tokyo.

Singh held on to defeat defending champion Australian Brendan Jones, New Zealander David Smail and Taichi Teshima having led for much of the event.

It was Singh’s second win of the season in Japan and his third worldwide having also claimed the Austrian Open on the European Tour.

Third round leaders, Toshinori Muto and Prayad Marksaeng, struggled on the final day to finish 5th and 7th respectively.
