Responding to the extraordinary success of its LoCo golf ball and driver launches in 2002, Dunlop has introduced its new LoCo Fairway Woods at the recent 2003 PGA Merchandise Show. The Fairways bear the same striking navy and gold graphics that propelled the LoCo ball to become one of golf’s hottest new products last year.

The Three and Five LoCo Woods feature stainless steel heads with a distinctive midnight blue graphite weave effect on dome. Electric yellow Harrison Striper titanium-reinforced graphite shafts are specifically matched to the heads for optimal trajectory, control and distance. The Fairways feature premium Winn slipresistance grips.

Introduced in late 2002, the 450cc forged aluminum LoCo Driver carries the unmistakable “Crazy Long” attitude and slightly off-beat graphics. As with the Fairway Woods, Harrison Striper shafts and Winn grips come standard on the LoCo Driver. Suggested retail for the Driver and new Fairway Woods is US$149.00 (each). “The LoCo line says a lot about where we’re headed as a brand,” said David Leverant, chief operating officer of Focus Golf Systems, the exclusive licensee of Dunlop golf clubs and equipment. “Dunlop is all about delivering premium components, quality workmanship, smart attitude and extraordinary pricing to the value-conscious golfer who loves to play. I think we’ve hit the mark with LoCo.”
