Faldo heads an impressive weekend for Nike Golf

Nike Golf’s second year in the club business has already been backed by strong showings on the professional tours around the world in 2003. This past weekend was no different with Pat Perez and Stephen Ames both finishing Top 10 at the Bob Hope Classic and Nick Faldo and Trevor Immelman each finishing in the No. 2 position at the Heineken Classic and South Africa’s Sunshine Tour finale, respectively.

Immelman and Ames are each playing the new TA2 LNG from Nike Golf, Perez played the TA2 SPN this weekend and Faldo is playing the SPN and the LNG depending upon weather and course conditions.

Immelman has already earned two victories in 2003 and has missed two additional wins by a total of three strokes, more than enough to earn him the Sunshine Tour’s Order of Merit.

As evident by the success of these players, Nike Golf’s clubs and new TA2 ball are becoming the weapons of choice by a growing number of Tour professionals. Weekend results:
