Srixon launches first putter line in US

Srixon Sports recently introduced a new line of putters – the P201, P202 and P203 models – designed specifically for controlled stability through impact. The putters feature a lightweight aluminum alloy set in a stainless steel body. The aluminum alloy has a low specific gravity, ensuring that more weight is distributed to the heel and toe, providing golfers with excellent directional stability. In addition, the aluminum alloy has less resilience than polymer based inserts, which reduces the tendency for the ball to jump off the putter face.
“The P200 putters – our first line in the U.S. – exhibit the technological expertise expected of Srixon products,” said Richard Stamper, Srixon’s Chief Operating Officer. “The putters offer excellent control characteristics that should help improve the golfer’s confidence and bring forth a more consistent stroke.”
The new putter line comes in three different head and styles. P201 is a mallet-style putter with a slant neck. P202 is a heel-toe weighted “longhead” putter with a classic ‘L’ bend, full-shaft offset. P203 is a classic heel-toe weighted blade with an ‘L’ bend, full-shaft shaft offset.
Each putter in the line carries a suggested retail price of $129 in the US.
