NSW PGA moves to Pambula Merinda Golf Club

Due to the severe drought conditions, Bega Cheese and the NSW PGA have been forced to relocate this years NSW PGA Championship from Bega and Tura Beach Golf Clubs to Pambula Merimula Golf Club. 132 of the states top professional will compete for a AUD$100,000 prize purse in March 2003.
General Manager Steve Brickley stated “We are delighted to be in a position to assist the other Clubs, the NSW PGA and Bega Cheese to ensure this prestigious event remains in the Bega Valley and is highly successful. As the first tournament of the new Von Nida Tour it is crucial for all concerned to ensure a successful event, it is great for our Club, but also fantastic for the beatiful Sapphire Coast”
