Quarter Finals reached at NSW Amateur

The NSW Amateur Championship reached its Quarter Final Stage following the opening two rounds yesterday and with both the Quarter and Semi Finals being played today at the Royal Sydney Golf Club, the race is on to make the 36 hole final tomorrow.

On one side of the draw, Bonnie Doon's Troy Moses takes on fellow Bonnie Doon member Ruben Sondjaja and Brit Garrick Porteous tackles Adam Downtown of the Ashlar Golf Club.

On the other side Canadian David Rose will face Englishman Neil Raymond while in the final match defending champion Long Reef's Brett Drewitt is up against Victorian Ben Eccles.

Leading qualifier Thomas Horn was eliminated by Luke Humphries in the opening round.
