23 year old Henley has taken on where he left off during last year's Web.Com Tour where he won twice late in the season and finished 3rd on that money list. Henley also won as an amateur on the then Nationwide Tour in 2011 but decided not to turn professional immediately and eventually took up membership towards the end of 2011.
Langley, the 2010 NCAA Championship medallist, has twice played and made the cut at the US Open so his credentials are good and his caused was helped this week by playing the opening 36 holes with his great friend Henley.
One of the pre tournament favourites, Matt Kuchar, produced a strong finish to his second round, an eagle at the last completing a round of 63 and moving him into 4th position on his own.
Scott Gardiner, playing in his first PGA Tour event, has done well to be in a share of 9th position with New Zealander Danny Lee and others.
Alistair Presnell is also playing his first PGA Tour event as a cardholder and finds himself in 14th position along with Sydney's Matt Jones.
John Senden and Marc Leishman are the next best of the Australians in 22nd position.
