South Aus ready for final heroics

South Australia has the chance to win the Australian Boys' Interstate Teams Matches for just the second time in a decade heading into tomorrow's final round at Pacific Harbour Golf Club.

The South Australians beat Victoria 3-2 and Tasmania 4-1 on Tuesday and are now level with Victoria on matches but hold a half contest lead. SA face Western Australia in tomorrow morning's final round, with Victoria to play Queensland.

Anthony Murdaca, Kieran Barratt and Jack Williams led the way for the South Australian side, all winning both matches on Day 3.

Queensland sits in third place and could win the title if other results go in their favour. Jack McLeod and Blake Proverbs won both their matches for the home side.

Western Australia is in fourth place and New South Wales is in fifth.

The Northern Territory, Tasmania and the ACT round out the leaderboard.

The final round is played on Thursday.
