Westwood won US$1.25 million for the week and heads to Dubai in the best possible form to tackle yet another huge purse at the Dubai World Championship.
Westwood's brilliance on Saturday, when he produced a round of 62, spreadeagled the field but Robert Karlsson at least kept him honest with the best final round of the day (68) to get within two.
Jason Dufner and Graeme McDowell tied for 3rd while Kim Kyung Tae was alone in 5th position.
