I’m not sure if it is politically correct to call LPGA Tour golfers over forty years of age veterans, but it should be taken as a compliment when describing the stellar performances of both Beth Daniel and Juli Inkster in this week’s BMO Financial Group Canadian Women’s Open. 46-year-old Daniel birdied the final two holes to edge out 43-year-old Inkster by one shot and claim her 33rd win on the LPGA since she joined the tour back in 1979.
