Jonathan Moore came up with the most dramatic of eagles to tie up the 41st Walker Cup for the United States yesterday in Newcastle, County Down, Northern Ireland.
Earlier in the morning foursome matches, the Americans had achieved a complete whitewash over the Great Britain & Ireland pairings and the Walker Cup looked certain to remain in American hands.
