Lorena Ochoa made it five from six in 2008 when she fought off a strong challenge from rookie Yani Tseng to win the Ginn Open and in doing so took her earnings for the season to US$1,440,000. This time she won by “only” three, which is one of the smallest of her recent winning margins but although only three ahead of Tseng, she was eight ahead of the third placed Suzann Pettersen.
