America’s Amanda Blumenhurst has ended her amateur career on a
high, capturing the US Amateur championships with a gritty 2
& 1 win at Eugene Country Club in Oregon today.
Runner up at last year’s Amateur, Blumenhurst was behind for most
of the day as Spain’s Azahara Munoz played the steadier golf. It
