The dream became a reality today when India’s C. Muniyappa triumphed in the US$1.25million Hero Honda Indian Open today after beating Lee Sung on the first extra hole.
C. Muniyappa drained a 10 foot birdie putt on the par five 18th to win at DLF Golf and Country Club and transform the life of a golfer who once earned one rupee working as a caddie aged seven in Bangalore.
