Vijay Singh has defeated Steve Stricker by one shot at the Chevron World Challenge with a further three shots back to Hunter Mahan and Anthony Kim. Vijay Singh birdied the final hole of the final event of the year and in doing so won his fourth event of the year, three months after he last played at the Tour Championship.
Jim Furyk finished alone in 5th position after he had shared the lead at 10 under half way through his final round.
