Jason Scrivener collected his first major amateur title with his win today at the 2009 Western Australian Amateur after defeating John Marino, 4&3, at Cottesloe Golf Club.
“This is special victory to win my first main amateur title,” said a relieved Scrivener, 19, this evening.
It was a sweet victory for Scrivener as twelve months ago Michael Foster denied him the same crown.
