Julia Boland has won the Trans Amateur National in Tennessee 2 & 1 over fellow Australian Stacey Keating.
The AIS member becomes the second Australian to win the prestigious title after Anne Marie Knight captured the trophy in 1995.
It was Boland’s first win on international soil and she was thrilled to see her game match it with some of the world’s finest amateurs.
