Australian Nick Flanagan may not be in the form that saw him win the 2003 US Amateur Championship and three times on the Nationwide Tour in 2007 to earn PGA Tour status but the Novocastrian has displayed enough in recent weeks to suggest that he is very much on the way back.
Flanagan has finished an encouraging 4th and just two behind American Tom Gainey at the Melwood Prince George’s County Open in Maryland.
