Defending champion, Yuta Ikeda, has today won his 7th Japan Golf Tour event in less than 16 months with a stunning final round of 62 to win the Bridgestone Open in Chiba.
The 24 year old Ikeda is rivalling the exploits of his younger colleague, Ryo Ishikawa, in their respective performances on the Japan Golf Tour in the past eighteen months, this week’s victory moving Ikeda to 4th on this years’ money list and just 3 million behind Ishikawa.
