37 year old former PGA Tour winner and Ryder Cupper, Brett Wetterich, has won the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, his third victory on the Nationwide Tour. Wetterich has only limited status on the PGA Tour and, unable to gain a start at Bay Hill, he has taken full advantage of this week’s opportunity and opened up another door in terms of regaining his full PGA Tour status in 2012.
