Seven days after the disappointment of losing a playoff to K.J. Choi at the Players Championship, David Toms has bounced back at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at the Colonial Country Club in Forth Worth to win by one shot over Charlie Wi.
It was Toms’ first win since the 2006 Sony Open in Hawaii and while there have been several runner-up finishes in the meantime that he was able to finally breakthrough was a relief for the 44 year old.
