Jason Day’s outstanding weekend at the HP Byron Nelson Championship has moved him to 19th position in the world golf rankings and for the first time in his career he is now the leading world ranked Australian golfer.
Day made a remarkable recovery over the final two rounds at the event in Dallas effectively winning the tournament within a tournament over the closing 36 holes by a massive four shots.
