Contrary to my earlier report, Queensland golfer Brad Kennedy has earned the right to play the Open Championship at Royal St Georges next month.
Kennedy finished in 5th position at last week’s Mizuno Open on the Japan Golf Tour and the leading four players not otherwise exempt each earn a place in the Open Championship field.
The confusion came from me believing that only the top four would be included but only if they were not already exempt....
