American Steve Friesen has today won his first Nationwide Tour event with a comfortable and impressive five shot victory at the Price Cutter Charity Championship in Springfield in Missouri.
Friesen birdied his last three holes to extend a narrow lead into one where he could enjoy the moment as he walked the final hole. Friesen moves to 23rd on the 2011 money list despite playing just two events.
