West Australian Whitney Hillier has confirmed her ongoing return to big time golf with an emphatic victory at the Lake Macquarie Women’s Amateur Championship at the Belmont Golf Club south of Newcastle today.
The 21 year old led by nine heading into the final round over Breanna Elliott but although the runner-up produced the best round of the day (73) it was always a bridge too far in terms of staging a serious challenge to the eventual winner....
