China’s Liang Wenchong has defeated the much higher ranked Y.E. Yang in a five hole playoff to win the Nanshan China Masters in Nanshan in southern China.
Liang played in the final group with Yang and Australian Aaron Townsend on day four and struggled early in his round dropping three shots by the 7th hole and at that point Yang and Townsend had joined him in the lead.
