Cristie Kerr has not won an event anywhere since June of 2010. Although she has been inside the top ten on 25 occasions since that victory she had slipped to 15th in the world ranking compared to her regular place inside the top five in the world.
Today that all changed when she held off spirited challenges from her fellow countrywoman Angela Stanford and Korean Inbee Park to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational at Guadalajara in Mexico.
