Darren Clarke, the undisputed hero of Europe’s emotional Ryder Cup victory last month in Ireland, has added his name to the impressive list of players confirmed for the Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship in December.
The 38-year-old was the inspiration behind Europe’s 18.5 points to 9.5 win over the United States after he lost his wife Heather to a long battle with cancer only weeks before the tournament began in the Emerald Isle.
